My assumption is that if you install the homebrew apache you should no longer see this issue. it should install the dependencies automatically but something must be wrong. Then did a re-install and it works. Install Apxs2 Is there any way to use homebrewed apache with Apple's Server.app?

I also tried to install Apache via homebrew with brew install homebrew/apache/httpd24 on linuxbrew but there are some other errors. I didn't notice that adding the --with-apache option also installed homebrew/apache as a dependency. I must say yes indeed I don't have that file apr-1-config anymore. So I looked to find that bin folder with that file.
