This machine is running windows xp with SP3 and this just started after trying to download a christmas screensaver for my wife. I'd like to turn on Automatic Updates on my Windows XP installation but the check boxes are all greyed out and there seems to be no way to do this. I'm wandering if there is a registry entry or some file I could modify to give me back the choices. navigate to these guys wuaueng1.dll 8. That should do the trick. This should solve the problem.
But my Windows security Center doesn't allow me to turn it ON. The key does not exist.
