If I select ANY of the three options that are set for that field, the red asterisk will not go away. Given that the form is XML and is run through a transform to display in the browser this should be easily customizable. Put a rule on Field B that when answered or has value, will set dummy field to 1 and when blank, 0. Some data validation features work differently in a Web browser than they do in InfoPath. This way, a form can only be submitted if both Field A and Field B are filled in.
