Apparently, IE was waiting for SuperAntiSpyware, which was waiting for Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST) (which was set to delayed auto start under Services). Go to the [E] Uninstall Tab.3. Wtf? I unchecked it and checked the auto detect proxy box and my problem was solved.
