I cannot upgrade my Norton Internet Security 2007 to Vista, because I cannot access the secure part of the Symantec site. I was having the same problem on my 64 bit vista and IE 8 not displaying hotmail and other secure sites such as banks. Compatibility View List puts a very positive spin on a painful experience and makes it sound as if it was a preplanned "feature" of IE8. check over here sign-up, it takes less than a minute and it's free!

The website is temporarily unavailable. i have had this problem for several months now, and i tried all the suggestions on your post, however none of them worked. I can access B of A's secure web site, so the problem is unlikely with B of A. Uninstalling Norton fixed the problem- I'm now using AVG. I downloaded Firefox and installed it, after disabling the firewall.
