Installing Windows Xp Cannot Find Hard Drive


I have a little support company in Zimbabwe and the amount of clients that ask me to downgrade their laptops to XP. The install will then be able to see the hard drive. This is a laptop. So does anyone know what this may be. his comment is here

it just says "an error has occured". You could try an XP install if you have a disc, to help narrow down what could be wrong? Working... Thank you and wish you the best in the future.
